About Tetyana Anderson

“My art is the edge of fantasy and expressionism, where impressions reflect through the prism of my emotions and transform into a new reality.”

Born in Dnipro, Ukraine, Tetyana showed an early passion for art, with her mother saying she was born with a pencil in her hand. She studied architecture at the Dnipropetrovsk Academy of Engineering. However, her true goal was to become an artist. In 2004, she moved to the USA, where she fulfilled her dream of painting in oil on canvas. Primarily self-taught, Tetyana progressed quickly, exploring various subjects such as landscape, portraits, wildlife, and figurative art. Her artistic development included extensive plein air practice and live drawing sessions in an art studio. She relocated to Setúbal, Portugal, in 2021, where she continues to refine her style and techniques. Each of her works tells a story, capturing experiences, emotions, and fleeting moments of life. By blending shapes and shifting colors, her paintings reflect her perception of reality, creating a sense of motion and ambiguous forms like music on canvas. Tetyana’s art serves as a window into her world, allowing viewers to see not just through her eyes, but through her soul. Her artistic journey includes both solo and group exhibitions in Portugal and the USA.
